eRepublic.org  Sponsors - Advertisers

About the sponsorship and advertising opportunities on eRepublic.org:

For having just recently had its startup and initial publishing on the Web ( September 2006 ), eRepublic.org has moved quickly, in just a month’s time, from a Google PageRank® of 0 to a PageRank of 4*...presently, May 2007, having risen to a PageRank of 5.  And with its rapidly climbing visitor traffic and attention from other meaningful Web resources, through its content’s daily practical value   (e.g., supplying, amongst its resources, a worldwide directory for access to national-level Government Web sites that is believed, through the efforts in its development, to be the most complete and focused one available on the Web)  and its mission, this ranking is likely to continue its rapid climb.

eRepublic.org visitors are to date arriving from almost every country in the world and field of concern [...national governments worldwide, individuals, educational institutions (universities to primary schools), non-governmental development organizations, international organizations of governments (such as UN agencies, the World Bank) and international businesses (such as oil and technology companies) ].

Given its startup nature, the eRepublic.org project Web site is initially offering likely the best advertisement value going on the Internet for reaching the previously mentioned audience…additionally, the investment made in sponsoring / advertising on eRepublic.org will also be aiding the enhancement and achievement of its efforts and goals toward broader and more in-depth eGovernment activity worldwide…which likely may also be consistent to your business motivated, other professional and / or amongst your personal goals.

If you or your organization wants upfront exposure to those in the international trade, international development and national governments communities, as well as to other international activities professionals, researchers and travelers, eRepublic.org is a great place to get it, in an unambiguous context and at a low cost...ride its theme and use the sought-after, practical content of eRepublic.org to advance your concerns.

With its advertisement program, eRepublic.org is currently offering the placement of the following ad formats (see table), in text or image, at the listed rates.  These rates will be held constant for at least the next six months of ad placements, through April 2008. Any increase in ad costs after this time, for new ad placements, will obviously be as a function of increased traffic and ad space demand to availability…but tempered and largely determined by only what is necessary to assist in funding the eRepublic.org efforts driven by its stated mission.

Sponsors / advertisers participating prior to the end of the June 2008, will receive a 15% reduction on any new ad rates, if rates in fact change, for new ads placed after this date, for a period of up to one year. Previously placed ads, those placed prior to 1 October 2007, may be contracted for up to one year at the present ad rates.

Hurry to place ads now, as country-page ad space will not now be priced on a differential costs basis: per, perhaps, the country’s perceived or actual popularity for a broad range of visitors and advertisers or sponsors. Ads will presently be committed on a first-come, first-served basis. That is, ad prices for country-page ads shall presently be at the same rate no matter the country page on which one wishes to advertise their goods or services or place a sponsor banner...furthermore, initial advertisers will have a wider choice of country pages on which to place and, perhaps, guard their advertisements or sponsorship banners.

The ad space on other site pages ( excluding the Home page and About Us pages on which we would currently prefer to limit most ads, although we may consider a sponsor spot...for your information, please know that the majority of daily site traffic presently enters the website via the country pages, the country menu pages or the eGov news feed pages ) may also presently be requested for ad placements and, if the ad or sponsorship is considered reasonably appropriate to the page subject matter and space is available, allocated at the same ad rates and conditions as those applied to the country Web pages**.

- An Ad should preferably clearly present the company, organization or its product logo.
- All Ads should be simple: without animations, unless an agreement specific to the contrary has been reached.
- An Ad placed on eRepublic.org should normally link back to the sponsoring / advertising company’s, organization’s or product’s home or main page.
- Any Ad contracted for placement for more than 30 days may be cancelled for any reason by either party with a 30 day written notification (an email using the email address from which the ad was originally placed is fine).
- Ads subject matter should be more or less related to the content and/or nature of eRepublic.org but, given the activity of a few Web advertisers (such as spam site producers), eRepublic.org will reserve the right to refuse the placing of any and all advertisement on the site, without explanation, to maintain the integrity of the site for legitimate advertisers.
- A 20% rate reduction overall (or roughly one free ad placement…when ads are of the same type, price ) will presently be given when 5 ads from the same advertiser are run for the same time period on the site.
- Prices for listing advertisements (more than 5) on numerous pages of the site are negotiable.
- A sponsor or advertiser may page block an available page for all ad space on that page (using the 600 pixel wide and 90 pixel height allocated to a top and a bottom of the page banner and the right side vertical banner area up to 120w x 600h) and receive a 25% discount on the overall advertisement costs for the page (please know that the 20% reduction for 5 ads or more would not additionally apply).
- Placement of horizontal ads on a page will normally be along the top, as the first placement area when available, or bottom of the page, when available and preferred. Vertical banners will be placed on the right side of the page.
- Ads will normally be placed on the agreed upon site page within 2 business days of receipt of the ad banner and ad costs payment. Payment for ads may be made via PayPal® using a major credit card or a PayPal account or via check payment in the U.S. or Canada ( see the ‘Support eRepublic.org’ top menu page for details ). If these payment methods do not meet your particular needs ( such as PayPal not presently operating for your country ), please communicate that to us and we will try to find a workable alternative method.
- Although the site has not experienced or we have not been aware of any occurrence of site down time through its well known and respected site hosting service ( Network Solutions ), please know that no change to the ad rates may be offered or made when the site is not functioning due to hosting service or server problems and / or due to malicious activity by third parties. That is, no ad pricing refund or modification consideration shall be contracted for or considered in the the event of the site's transmission being disrupted , except for those events that may arise from the willful neglect of the eRepublic.org site owners or managers; However, please know that in the case where the site hosting-service server is found to be down every effort will be made to address and resolve the issue with Network Solutions once it is known, and if it, the hosting server being down, were to extend beyond a day period, the day(s) would be added to the ads' run date.  Malicious attacks by a third party that may cause the site's transmission to be disrupted, however unlikely, can not be given coverage.

* For comparison and perhaps a better understanding of what this Google PageRank indicates, consider that the well respected and visited international development focused Web resource www.developmentex.com has a start date close to March 2000 indicated on whois.sc and presently shows a Google PageRank of 5 with a Google Link Popularity of 130…eRepublic.org has again, as of Jan. 2007, a PageRank of 4 and its Google Link Popularity is presently indicated as 126…for another comparison, please consider the well respected and used, likely with a broader and larger audience than developmentex.com, global trade Web resource www.FITA.org.  Fita has apparently been on the Web since around September 1995 and its Google PageRank and Google Link Popularity are presently showing (on urltrends.com) at 6 and 546 respectively.

**   Please know, again, that this pricing policy may be revisited and amended on/a 01 July 2007.
